The writing team known as Adachitoka is responsible for the creation of the popular action/drama manga series known as "Noragami". After it was first published in 2011 byeditor of manga Kodansha(via Anime News Network) The "Noragami" series immediately became famous as one of the most beloved in Japan. The first season of the manga's anime adaptation launched in 2014 and was developed by Studio BONES ("Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood," "My Hero Academia").
The following year, a second season was released, which was given the subtitle "Aragoto".In this anime series, the main character, Yato, is a minor deity who tries to increase his following by doing odd jobs for a fee of five yen each.The god forms a partnership with Hiyori, a young high school girl whose soul often strays from her body, and promises to help her cure her condition. In addition to this, he forms a connection with Yukine, a lost spirit (shinki/Regalia) that Yato takes under his wing to use as a weapon in battle.
Because of Yato's history, the three eventually become something of a family unit as they are drawn into a complex web of divine questions. The first two seasons of "Noragami" received generally positive reviews from the media, and the show managed to cultivate a following among its viewers throughout its existence. But even though six years have passed since the end of "Noragami: Aragoto," fans are still eager for more.
Although the show has not been officially cancelled, it has been on hiatus for quite some time and there is very little information available about the show's release date, cast or plot. However, there is a lot of additional source material that the show could adapt. With that in mind, here's everything we've learned so far.

When is Noragami season 3 coming out?

Manga sales in 2022 are only about 20% of what they were in 2016, and nothing new has been released for this series in years.
The fact that one of the authors deals with health issues raises doubts about the reliability of the source material. After being delayed for an entire year, the manga was never able to pick up where it left off. In past years, the three new volumes of the Noragami manga would be released every new year.
In recent years, however, only one or two new volumes have been published each year. I wouldn't be surprised ifthe final episode of the series aired in 2023. If by the year 2022 there is still no confirmation of a third season of the Noragami anime series, then it is safe to assume that there will never be one.

Who is in Noragami Season 3?
In the event that "Noragami" is ordered for a third season, viewers will be familiar with the roles that the show's voice actors will play. It is still planned forHiroshi Kamiyato take on the role of Yato in the upcoming third season, subject to unforeseen events that may prevent him from doing so (via Myanimelist). Correspondingmaaya uchidaand Yuki Kaji will continue to play Yato's friends Hiyori and Yukine.
It is highly doubtful that English voice actorsjason liebrecht,April, and Micha Solusod, who play the main three in the second season of "Noragami," will switch characters if the show is renewed for a third season. There is currently no information available on when the English version will be available relative to the original. As a result of the fact that the English dubs are often a few weeks behind their respective original forms, English-speaking viewers may have to wait a bit longer for Season 3.
What is the story of Noragami Season 3?
When it comes to the production of “Noragami” Season 3, BONES has access to a lot of source material to draw on, as mentioned above. Compared to the manga, the show only covers about ten of the currently available 23 volumes, so there is still a lot more to be revealed.
This of course indicates that viewers will be given access to additional information about the bleak world of the gods and Yato's previous incarnation as a God of Misfortune (via Noragami Wiki). Hiyori and the other people involved must also find a cure for her easily misplaced soul. Due to the fact that the crew has been preoccupied with resolving issues between themselves and other deities from Yato's past until recently, their attention has not always been focused on Hiyori's condition.

Will this show return for a third season?
The second season of the anime was released more than seven years ago. Unfortunately, as of September 4, 2022, the third season of the anime has yet to be confirmed by the Bones studio or manga publisher, Kodansha. Realistically, even though the likelihood of a new season has decreased due to the passage of time, the possibility still exists because the manga is constantly active.
Even after so much time has passed, we occasionally see anime surprising audiences with a new season. An anime must meet some criteria to get a new season, and these criteria are usually taken into consideration when the decision to renew is made. But for Noragami, things are different. The use of Islamic prayer words in the second season of the show's song elicited a positive response from the Islamic community.
