So we thought it would be a nice touch to list some of the best dubbed romance anime you can watch today, where both the story and the actual voice acting are good enough to watch next Valentine's Day.

Yuzu Aihara is an elegant and fun city girl whose mother has remarried. They move away and she has to go to a much more conservative school that doesn't allow her to express herself in the same way. The school's student council is particularly strict, but it turns out she has a crush on this wild blonde kid, which her ultra-strict dad wouldn't put up with.

While Citrus is definitely designed for the kind of love story that will make viewers warm under the color, there's a heartfelt, conflicted relationship here to explore. Oh, and the big "twist" to this storyline is that the two girls are half-sisters and share the same room. Not exactly a spoiler. You probably figured it out before we say it.

This is a comedy novel with a rather hilarious premise. The heroine of this story is a huge otaku when it comes to boy love manga. She's a bit heavy, gets depressed and loses weight, which suddenly a lot of hot guys are interested in her.

The problem is that she has no interest in being the object of boys' desire. Instead, she really wants to see how these guys are romantic with each other. Much of the humor on this show comes from flipping the usual reverse harem tropes and subverting the results you might expect. When you're not in the mood for something deep, this romantic shojo comedy is a great palate-cleansing treat. As for the dub itself, it's competent at conveying the mood, so that's a win for us.

The Mermaid Law states that the girl must be executed for showing her mermaid form to anyone outside of the family. However, his mother finds a loophole: if the two children marry, the family issue will be resolved. The yakuza fatherfish is not very happy with this arrangement and begins plotting the death of our hapless protagonist. As you can imagine, hijinks happen.

He needs to take a drug that will make him look young again and that will send him back to high school where the idea is that he can fix anything that is mentally wrong with him.

As you can imagine, being a grown man in a teenager's body raises some questions. Arata, for example, is not supposed to have romantic relationships with high school students. You'll have to watch the show to see how he navigates this particular gauntlet.

This show has a relaxed pace, lots of witty banter and the occasional high-stakes climax. Overall, it's definitely aimed at a more mature audience, but even if you prefer shonen or shojo material, Spice and Wolf is worth a watch. It's not a particularly long show, but it's definitely a great story.

This is one of our absolute favorite shows and it's now available in an English dubbed version. While we think the English dub isn't as charming as the Japanese original, it's still pretty good! Chobits is a product of CLAMP!, a studio that continuously produces some amazing titles like Angelic Layer, Magic Knight Rayearth and Cardcaptor Sakura. So it has this distinct Clamp art style and story vibes.

Hideki Motosuwa is a farm boy who failed his university entrance exams, so he moves to Tokyo to attend a "tutoring school" that helps students get into the right university. In this world, personal computers exist in human form. So they are essentially personal assistant robots.

Hideki finds what appears to be an abandoned and broken "Pasokon" and takes it home. Upon activation, it becomes clear that this isn't a regular computer, but Hideki doesn't know anything about them, so he has no idea of ​​the fact. Ryuji and Taiga have a crush on each other's best friends and hatch a plan to help each other find love. While we have a hard time hearing the English dub voices of the characters we originally encountered in the Japanese subtitled version, it's a competent rendition of a fantastic show. Just because he's Toradora, this could easily be the best-dubbed love anime.
