read light novels
Light novels can be a rabbit hole to fall down. Not only are they easy to read because of their simple prose (aimed at young people) and length (50,000 words per volume on average), but authors can quickly expand on their stories. You won't have to wait long for the next episode, and when you do, it'll be easy to find other stories to fill your time.
You don't even have to sift through the myriad of available novels. All you need to look at is your titles. Most light novels have comically long titles that already explain the premise of their content.
And if you're too lazy to read texts, chances are some of the light novels you love have already been adapted as manga or anime.
